Testimony

I didn’t grow up in church but came to faith in Christ as a 17-year-old senior in high school in Wichita Falls, TX. A basketball coach led me to Christ at an FCA meeting. God greatly used the influence of my three brothers who had all become Christians by that point. I was discipled initially by Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).

Family

Married to Lori since 1989. We have two sons (Tyler and Conner), daughter-in-law Carissa, and two beautiful granddaughters - Elsie (3) and Malia (8 months). Lori’s dad Larry and stepmom Glenda also live in the area.

Background

Pastored in Texas until moving to Asheville in 2008, to serve Biltmore Church as Lead Pastor.
