Sunday Night Reflections
Wow! What a great day today @biltmore! Before I go to sleep, just wanted to jot down a few thoughts on the day:
*Fun to see all the cars on the grass because of overflow parking.
*Grateful for @mobrien800 leading in worship this morning. That dude has got a VOICE! I loved his authenticity and transparency about the journey he and his wife have gone through. God is faithful! (I’d sing a love song to my wife too if I could sing like that:)
*Anytime I preach on forgiveness, the Lord brings to mine someone who I need to forgive. Funny how that works.
*I love preaching the parables Jesus told. (Preached from Matthew 18:21-35 today).
*So encouraged by how many texts, voice mails, emails, notes, etc of encouragement I received this week from people (many of who I did not even know).
*@aaronkeyes did an amazing job leading worship at VERTICAL tonight. I love how naturally he shared Scripture during the songs.
*Was cool to have over 5,900 worshippers on campus today.
*Still praying for our team in Kenya working with the orphanage there. Did you know there are 3 million orphans in Kenya?
*Grateful for a Christ exalting, people loving, hard working staff that pull in the same direction.
*I always love to have church members come introduce people to me that they led to Christ that week. Sweet!
*It is an honor to pastor @biltmore and LOVE what the Lord is doing in our midst!
Have a great week
